Papyrus integration with Salesforce

Integrate your Salesforce applications seamlessly with Papyrus Software

Papyrus always delivered an open platform approach to facilitate the integration with other core business systems. The Papyrus Adapters use standardized messaging interfaces to avoid version dependencies from other applications which are a big burden for TCO. If you use Salesforce as your central contact and lead management application, but need to combine it with a business document management system, you need to look at the latest version of Papyrus.

Users can now seamlessly access the Papyrus system, browse through the library of business document templates, select the right one for the current contact and immediately write personalized though standardized documents for individual customer correspondence.

All the data from Salesforce are passed to the Papyrus application through standardized WebService interfaces, so that you do not have to retype already available information. Just focus on the document itself which can be generated without further user interaction in batch, or go through the user input fields and amend the text building blocks and text content as defined by the document administrator.

Of course, also the Papyrus document Wizards can be used to guide the business users through a more complex document creation process. Wizards also allow you to query additional data from backend systems or Salesforce itself, which were not part of the initial document request, like entering a product number and retrieving the associated product details from your product database. In any case, users can also define the preferred delivery channel like email, print or Web and the produced document will be saved in the Papyrus Content Management System Papyrus WebArchive. It can be returned to Salesforce as PDF or via a link to the original document so that the Salesforce records are complete.

This way users do not only have contextual access to delivered documents, but can also search independent from Salesforce for documents, based on any metadata that are part of the document process. Papyrus acts as the central Content Management System of all documents and users can easily research which documents were shipped when, eventually see also updates that were added by other team members or departments, or order a document reprint delivered through an alternative channel.

That’s how integration works with your business applications, allowing you to focus on your peoples’ and customers’ experiences. For details read about Customer Communications Management (CCM).
