The Management Circle Seminar offers inspiring interdisciplinary topics moderated by industry leaders and engages participants in interesting discussions in a relaxing atmosphere. Wolfgang Hildesheim is a high-energy physicist turned business leader. Following research at CERN and DESY, he spent over a decade in consulting before leading worldwide sales and marketing for a family-owned big data and communication intelligence company, significantly growing revenue and profits. Joining IBM in 2007, he led the automotive, aerospace, and high-tech practice, and from 2009, IBM's European Big Data Industry Solution business. Since 2012, he has led IBM's Watson, Data Science, and AI business in Europe, focusing on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He is actively involved in AI standardization efforts in Germany, including membership in the National Commission and Bitkom's AI working group.
