Eligibility:
To be accepted into one of the Papyrus Certification Programs, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Required skills:
Understanding of AFP and printer technologies (IPDS, PCL, Metacode, Postscript,...), PPFA, Overlay/OGL, PAGEDEF/FORMDEF, Pagesegments/images, AFP-Fonts, resolutions, code pages
Complex dynamic document application design, charts, tables, text formatting, logic definitions, consolidated document development.
Papyrus Client AFP viewing, Prompting applications, text editor.
Reading of different input data formats (linemode, ASCII/EBCDIC, DJDE, SAP, XML, etc.)
Basics of Postprocessing/Papyrus PrintPool, indexing, AFP import, database access, barcodes/OMR

Application and Fees:
Choose one of the dates below and contact ISIS for your personal training plan to gain the required knowledge. The application fee for each certification is USD 600/ 500.
Certification Maintenance Requirements:
Due to the dynamic environment in which individuals are certified as Papyrus Professionals, it is imperative for them to remain current with the enhancements and extensions of the Papyrus Document System. Therefore each certified Papyrus Professional is required to attend one update class every year and to be recertified every 3 years.
The 2010 update class for Certified Papyrus Application Developers requires participation in the Papyrus Experts Workshop/Modules 1&2. Thereafter, recertification can be achieved at any certification date.

If you do not have access to a training room with the necessary hardware and software, we can offer the workshop in one of our training centers in Vienna, Dallas or Singapore.

You will receive a written confirmation with the accurate course information, a map to find the course location and a choice of hotels nearby. We are happy to book the hotel reservation for you if required.
Cancellation of the course is free of charge up to two weeks before the course date. After that, the full fee for the course applies.
We would like to point out that workshops might be postponed due to low registration and recommend taking this into account when arranging your flight schedule.
