ISIS Papyrus unveils ISIS Papyrus Document System Version 6

Ma. Enzersdorf/Vienna, July 3, 2002 - On July 1 ISIS Papyrus started the distribution of Papyrus Document System Version 6.

Like previous versions the substantially enhanced product suite is available free of charge to all customers under maintenance. ISIS Papyrus has expanded its solution concept for Document Automation And Management with application integration facilities and has therefore named it Document IntegrationTM. The Papyrus Document System as well as the Papyrus Objects integration architecture is completely independent from operating systems and output channels.

Additionally, Version 6 is fully upward compatible to all previous versions and enables customers to use all document applications of the last ten years without any conversion effort.

Papyrus Objects as the infrastructure and integration component enables customers to simply define, integrate and manage their most important document applications. The resultant object oriented document framework enables legacy application integration built
on a reliable and scalable software architecture.

Major enhancements of Version 6:

the Papyrus Objects infrastructure component enabling version and variant management as well as user authorization and data security

>>

between 20% to 50% higher throughput for document formatting · expanded formatting capabilities such as a simple table command and simplified logic using CASE/SELECT

>>

enhanced database support and XML data import · new chart types and barcodes, i.e. PDF 417

>>

simplified design features, such as drag & drop between data and document window
