Ladies and Gentlemen !
Let's start this ISIS Times
with a quick look back. ISIS software revenue
grew 1995 by 31% and we are twice as profitable
as 1994, mainly we because held our headcount
growth at around 20%. AFP Designer is still our
most successful product line accounting for 56%
of our revenue, while Papyrus already produces
18% of our revenue. Maintenance and services make
up the rest. A strong December placed Japan into
second place after Germany. As our Asia/Pacific
market is now nearly as big as our Europe market,
ISIS will open an Asian Support Center in Singapore,
in addition to the offices in Milan and Paris
planned for 1996.
You will find that in 1996 we
will focus more than ever on applications and
solutions. As a software developing company it
is easy to be too product oriented, as it is our
main effort to continuously improve products and
documentation.
In this issue of the ISIS Times,
we have selected Papyrus Designer and DocEXEC
as our application focus. We want to show you
samples and solution opportunities for your business
related to these products. DocEXEC is today simply
the most powerful multi-platform statement formatter
available on the market! Much of its power lies
in the visual and graphical development interface
of Papyrus Designer. We will show you that reducing
the time required for development, porting and
maintaining your documents is the major factor
for product selection.
While other vendors claim to
provide ease-of-use by squeezing users into a
mediocre text-library based functional concept
and an organisational straitjacket, we at ISIS
believe in the leading functionality, top design
speed, unbeatable execution time (i.e. 4 times
faster than DCF on MVS) and true freedom of choice
for platforms. Do not make a decision for statement
generation without looking at Papyrus DocEXEC.
With best regards,
Max J. Pucher and Annemarie
